Our story
From New York to North Carolina, our story begins with the love from a mother. Anthony Rapillo was born to an immigrant mother in Queens, NY. He started as a young entrepreneur selling healthy meal preps and delivering it to his local gym. In 2020 he opened his first restaurant, Vpizza located in Cary, North Carolina. In the five years that have followed Anthony has opened multiple businesses throughout the triangle area. With incredible partnerships such as his collaboration projects, Flour & Barrel & La Taqueria with celebrity Chef Katsuji from top chef.
Anthony attributes his successes to his mother and God. Building a culinary empire in the triangle with nothing but grit, motivation and the love of a mother. That is how Layla’s Son Hospitality came to be.
